I've replaced alot of carpets in my day but this one stinks. We have recently had problems of ball getting stuck in the ball door so I checked out the ball lift and noticed thast the carpet had shifted and curled downward not letting the ball enter. I started checking out the caroet and found that they put a bolt in front of the carpet roller ball door side. So its actually shifting the carpet. Can I turn the carpet around ? Usually I would just replace it but dont have an extra

To get by you can flip the carpet until you get a new one in.

Keep an eye on the seam for wear.

I flipped the carpet and checked out the bearing brackets and bounce board and the carpet looks like its still shifting towards the ball door. What else can I do to fix this problem?

Next step would be to turn the Front Roller around or change with another Machine. Have you checked the Front Roller for Oscillation, could be jamming one side.

When you had the carpet out did you happen to look at the front support brackets and the pivot stud? Missing the rubber insert?
This could cause the roller to ride high on one side forcing the carpet to the other.

Now go back and take out the carpet again and remove the front roller support brkt's. Rebuild them so they both pivot freely on the shaft. As I'll bet one or both are seezed and wont pivot freely. Hence the bolt onfront of the roller. Now go thru and rebuild the front roller. This will assure it's tracking correct.
