Blue blades are for the newer machines,I could not get them to work in the silver box machines they are a not as beefy as the brown ones.

The blue blades are softer, the brown are stiffer. I currently use a Phoenix and a Sanction which are HEAVY machines and use the brown blades. I've also used a Kastodian which use the blue. Don't try to interchange the two types.
