  • Conqueror Bes X reset/reinitialized

When should Bes x scoring be reset or reinitialized? I'm just looking to get all my scoring up to par before leagues start. Do I need to do these? I know for sure I am going to check and calibrate all cameras.

At the front desk computer: Setup > Technical Setup > Upload to lanes. Check send HDC and erase memory. Do all lanes once a week when nobody is bowling. Just before you open for the day is a good time.

Conqueror questions will get more attention in the Qubica forum.

The centre I was working at casually went into receivership about 2 months ago. It has recently reopened under new owners and I have the envious job of trying to resurrect the machinery and facilities after years of neglect. The problem I'm experiencing with Qubica is that the logon that we are using and given to us by a previous staff member will not allow me to upload programs. Previously i could go in and erase memory and resend the program when required. I have a pair with a VDB that the battery is flat and I need to resend the program every morning. I overcame this problem by installing another VDB (I have 13 spare VDB's from a centre that closed, some good, some bad) but I'm interested to know if there is a master logon password that will allow me to access the upload functions?

Different accounts have different permissions set up when they are created to allow or not allow those users to perform certain tasks. Sounds like you were given one that didn't have many. My guess is that you'd need to call tech support and have them log in and create a new account with full ability to edit all things for you.

Thank you.I also have lanes that sometimes when you issue it, it will not come up for bowlers to put their names in. It will bring up the frame that has the virtual waiter, your lane your way, service, etc. on it. Will doing what you said take care of that too?

An upload to lanes is always the first step if you have a computer problem. Doing it once a week prevents problems.
