  • 82-30 table reconfiguration for Qscore

Recently updated to automatic scoring from original paper scoring. Q score from AMF reads strikes but does not cycle a new set of pins. Was told there might be a re-wiring needed. any one know how?

If you added scoring there is no reason not to have a strike cycle unless the installer removed wires j-26 ,& j-27 this is the K&L circuit going to the respot cells check to make sure they didn't remove the wires also check all of the switches on the respot cell for a broken wire there is another way around this if you have omega tec mk30s you can add a expander card and tie it into the scoring for a short strike cycle the table will never move on 1st ball if it's a strike it clear the deck and spots a new set of pins

I have the expander boards but don't know how to hook them to the scoring system. Over the years the previous owner cut the wires on the re spot cells and added a button to reset the pins.

If you have Qscore with Q vision camera then you can simply wire the camera into the expander card on your chassis. Which chassis are you using? Does your scoring use the Q vision camera or the T vision?

Here is the board overview for the Q vision camera. You will connect your expander boards to the connector boxed in red. You have 6 connections here, 3 for the odd lane and 3 for the even lane.

Here is the pinout for the JP9 connector (in red box in previous pic) on the Q vision camera board. The corresponding connections are for the MP chassis so that may vary depending on what chassis you are using.

You expander board should show the connections for it or post which expander you are using.

I know I'm not the only one who has had the table bolts literally shear off. I cannot explain where there would be a force strong enough to do this to the bolts.

I have a pair that won't score if ball detection is turned on, but when I turn it off the scoring works right away.
