Is there someway to change/adjust the aspect ratio of the monitor itself? Like when trying to get a program to fit on your laptop screen ......

      not that I know of.

Which overhead monitors do you have exactly?

Are both monitors of the pair showing the same problem?
If not, swap the video feed to see if it moves to the other monitor.
This can rule out either the scoring, or the overhead monitor.

48 inch samsungs. both monitors on pair have same issue. if I shut off exciters on the pair and then send audio video to these monitors, it will make the screen print normal size. sometimes it takes a couple times of doing this to make this work

It looks like you do not have Frameworks monitors, you have flat screen TVs with a converter box. I would swap that to another pair, and see if the problem moves.
