  • Re configure okidata ML 320 serial printer

    I do re configure my okidata ML 320 turbo Printer front desk with serial interfase after repair printer.
    Need help with DIY data cable (rj11 narrow to db25M) and serial parameters (baud rate, etc)
    What manual must i read?
    Help appreciated.

    Below is a link to the supplemental manual for your printer. On page 15 and 16 are the pinouts for the MMJ, DB9 and DB25. On page 21 are the parameters.

    Are you sure you have the RJ11 or is it the MMJ. The MMJ looks like the RJ11 but the tab is off to the side of the connector to prevent phone cords from accidentally being plugged in to the jack. If you need the RJ11, which I didn't see in the manual, you can google RJ11 to DB25 and it should give you some results. I would try to confirm your setup though by looking for some information on your device that has the RJ11 connector.

    Are you trying to connect your printer to the computer or to a cash drawer? Which device has which connector?

      My printer has db25 Female connector, cable is in one side db25Male and the other side RJ11male connected to one jack from ortronics groups of female jacks like picture
