  • Actuator arms PBW II

Hello. I've been getting my actuator arms on one of my lanes chewed up. According to my assistant. It works for 2 tries then on it's way down it makes a horrible noise (almost like a machine gun) he inspects it and the teeth are chewed up bad. Any suggestions on what could be causing the issue? I have yet to inspect it myself. Thanks in advance

Because I haven't seen the issue, I'm guessing the cam isn't hitting the down switch and the motor continues to run but the rails are already fully down. That would probably chew up a few teeth. OR could it be happening on the way up? Depending on the type of motor you have, the plate has screws going thru it, which screw into the motor, and sometimes they back themselves out and get in the way.
