  • Kustodian leaving pool on end of deck

Kustodian just started doing this......leaving a big pool of " sludge" on the end of the deck. It's not happening every time......Friday 3 out of 34 lanes looked like this. Anybody familiar with this problem? Thanks in advance,

Forward travel wasn't far enough. If it only happened on 3 lanes it could be operator error instead of a needed adjustment. The squeegee should have pushed the puddle off the rear of the pin deck. The size of the puddle may indicate a problem with the vacuum or waste tank.

It would happen to us when the user would press the start button twice consecutively when it was on the lane. Perhaps it was an early software error, but it stopped the squeegee from lowering all the way.

Another problem is if the user doesn't press the start button on the approach first and only on the lane. The squeegee blades would sometimes reverse because there was no forward momentum on the machine while the squeegee was down and being placed on the lane.

One last user error we had was when the they would pull the machine back to the foul line after they place it on the lane after the squeegee had lowered. It can also sometimes cause the squeegee blades to reverse.
