    strange scratches on the sides on my pins. what could cause that? top of the belly and below the neck.

            Ours get that way from getting stuck under the ballwheel guards...especially if they're OEM and installed backwards...if the guard is flipped to the opposite side, the rolled edges are sharp...facing in towards the pit...

              Ours were getting them from metal turn pan cams and damaged scissors.
              "Penny for your thoughts" and you give them "Your two cents"...... Do they owe you change?

              Didn't think I'd ever like these. Now, especially in a FEC, they are one of my favorite mods. Here are the ones I made for our center. Hooks were made from stock from my scrap...
               

              Pit Board Rubbers

              Years ago, got tired of these damn things falling off. Here's my fix. Never come loose again....
               

              4:1 replacement

              Swapped out 4:1 assembly today due to oil leak. Was surprised by the amount of sediment in the box. Looked and felt like gritty mud.
