  • Plastic Plows coming apart at seams

Both RH and LH plows' coming apart at seams on 4 yr old, almost 400k frame, xli edge machines. No problems yet with pins catching on plows but cost of plows vs. welding plastic is getting more interesting. Any other thoughts on the subject?

I have the same damage too after almost 4 years on some lanes. I took a knife and cut off the small piece sticking out above the carpet to make the plow flat again. Plastic - fantastic

          4:1 replacement

Swapped out 4:1 assembly today due to oil leak. Was surprised by the amount of sediment in the box. Looked and felt like gritty mud.

          Scissor stud tool.

Not sure if they make a special wrench to hold the stud for the scissors, but my dad got tired of fighting with it and made this wrench. He cut down a 15/16 wrench, grinded the...
