  • New wiring diagram

Spent a good 5 hours on and off today re-drafting the wiring schematic. Still haven't figured out how to export an image decent enough for downloading and viewing but this gives you the idea. Basically the same layout as the original except I've added values for the resistors/capacitors. Cam switch descriptions and justified the text on the terminal strips. Each terminal has its connections justified the same and every other terminal is offset for clarity. I've printed out small sections and it really is clear. Just need to add the table, c1 and c2 then clean up and double check all my labels.

    Wow! Nice work.

It looks nice, but I don't know how to view it full size.

Someone on here must know how to do it.

      Re: New wiring diagram

no way to view it full size yet, I would have to export a high-quality image file from autocad and then find a hosting site that would accept a large file. When it's done, I plan on making an hpgl file that can be sent to the local office supply store. They will print a 24x36 copy for $10 or so. Otherwise, I might be able to scan sections and post them. Right now I'm just trying to finish it.

Tried plotting a small section and scanning it, bear in mind this is a work in progress....

              Re: New wiring diagram

Here's the layout of the diagram, I've shifted things around a little. I have a large column down the right side that I would like to fill with electrical troubleshooting notes, tips, etc. As I said earlier, I added resistor and cap values on the plans as well as cam switch descriptions. Still going to put motor info on. Just looking for ideas on what to put in that right section. Anyone have electrical tips, other info located elsewhere that would make more sense being ON the wiring schematic....stuff along those lines.

Still have some wiring labels to finish, but figured out how to plot a high-res version. Right click on it, pick view image and click on the picture that opens

                        Nice work indeed!
I noticed though that you have two(2) TS 1A1's and no 17? And isn't there a jumper between the two?
There! Try to NOT work now!

Still looking for a few electrical tips/suggestions for additions to the wiring diagram. Anyone that suggests something that I end up adding will get a free 24x36 copy mailed to them. Have just a little more room left down the right side.
