  • Sweep drops immediately after FrameWorX practice

GSX pinsetters with FrameWorX scoring - League practice terminates automatically after prescribed minutes - normally, pinlights turn off and the pinsetter stops in the current state for a short period, then everything comes on and the pinsetter resets.

Problem: one pinsetter drops sweep immediately - all else is normal, lights off and pinsetter stops - lights come on and pinsetter resets at the same time as the others. Problem happened two days in a row same pinsetter.

    Ideas would be appreciated.

We have this happen intermittently using Vector, but might be parallel to FMX.
There is a tab for LANE SETTINGS at the front desk. Under that is a column that says SET PINS. When that is checked, as practice ends, the sweep drops and is a major pain. We have unchecked this option. Maybe, your problem child is activated? Not sure if the wording will be the same for FMX, but this is an option to look at.

Thanks for the response - we don't have the option, but there is a "set pins" button on the pinsetter, which may have a loose connection - will be checking..

        k. well let us know in the end. One other thing to verify is on the NexGen box. In the SETUP menu, there is an option for the sweeps to drop after when dark. Maybe make sure that isn't checked as being active.
