  • Auto oor with as90 or frameworx scoring

Hey guys, does anybody have as-90 or frameworx scoring clusters, and also have auto-oor kits installed? If so, could someone post pics of them on the machine? I've tried a couple times to get clearance but I can't seem to make it work. Thanks guys.

where are you having issues getting clearance at cody? I cant remember what that switch cluster looked like
If its still broken, guess it wasnt in the parts budget.

Just getting clearance beside one of the plastic gears without rubbing. If I saw one installed, I thought I could figure it out. I'll have to shim it in some way, and I'd like to see how other centers do it.

I added a couple small flat washers on the end of the shoulder bolt, up against the latch.
This "pushed" the link away from the cluster gear.
There should be enough thread on the shoulder bolt to add 2 washers.
You can do this while its still installed on the machine.

A heads-up for you: if you have an oor on a no-tap cycle, the pinsetter will pick up the standing pins & drop them when the deck is all the way up.

This will also happen with an out of range on a 1st ball foul. Took me a while to figure out what was going on when this happened occasionally in my old centre years ago.

After I knew what was happening I got into the habit of checking to see if the machine was on 2nd ball before pulling the OOR lever (didn't have auto OOR back then and we also had the foul lights turned on all the time).
