  • Ball Wipers Shifting?

    Hi,

Ive been running into a persistent issue with the ball wipers I have installed on my accelerator tracks shifting backwards and ripping the cloth and pad. Any suggestions on how to better secure the wipers themselves so they don’t move?

I work on A2’s by the way.

Put the pad into the ball wipe sleeve. Push the sleeve into the accelerator closed end first so you can see the pad inside and push it beyond the transition track. Pull it back with the sleeve above and below the transition track and the pad against the track. You may need to adjust the spring loaded bolt under the transition track to make it line up with the pad. Keep the end of the sleeve at the end of the pad so the bottom part of the sleeve doesn't get between the transition track and the bolt.
