  • Preventative Maintenance - Brunswick A Jets A2 Deck Chute

This may be one of the OLDEST Deck CHUTES in the world !!! Stopped in Beloit the other day and this was on the bench. Don't know why the mechanic removed it. It does have a small crack in it which I "Stop Drilled" about 5 years ago. Have to get your monies worth out of these things. I use a 1/4" drill and make sure to drill the hole at the end of the crack or just past it. Works the best on the 1, 7 & 10 pin chutes but I did it to this one to keep it in service. Machines are # 3000, installed in mid 1957. So this "Green Baby" is just over 61 Years OLD !! I believe there is one more still in service in the house.
