  • Spanner wrench mod

    So I have just your basic hook shaped spanner wrench, I always found it to be difficult to use. In part cuz the handle is skinny and not very long. So I think I wrapped a rag around it which was better but hard to keep in place. My next idea was to put it in vice grips. That was much better, but it kept slipping out of those too. So what I came up with was to grind flat spots on the length of the handle and the end I made into a V. The V shape works because these vise grips don't have the wire cutter at the back of the jaws and it keeps the handle from slipping out from side to side. I'll post pictures later, I'm using my tablet and the camera resolution is too large to post on here.
