    Ayep, looks like a fancy bazooka spring loader deallie. Evidently thought out pretty well since there are mounting holes to secure it to the bench or floor; jack handle spot.

      The part number is 38-3540 Rake Tube Spring Compressor. We made these for Brunswick until car jacks became obsolete.
