Brunswick Pin Warranty

I have attached the written warranty for Brunswick Max pins. I have never...

I have attached the written warranty for Brunswick Max pins. I have never sent pins back to the manufacturer after during the warranty period so I just had a few questions.

warranty.jpg
Im wondering if pins that sound dead or like they are dieing are covered under warranty. If a pin sounds dead, my assumption is that this is because the wood core or neck has either fractured or sperated. Firstly, is this assumption correct, secondly would Brunswick accept dead sounding pins as being covered under warranty for the issue of core seperation and breakage....my thoughts are that most of the time, you cannot see wood seperation or breakage....you hear it.

What are your experiences with what has been accepted as being covered under warranty and what has not been covered under warranty when it comes to pins....and more speciffically Brunswick pins as it is specific to my current situation. I have not had an extrordinary occurrence of broken pins, but I am expecting more to happen over the next 3 month before warranty is up.

Also, I have bought the pins through our distributor as opposed to through brunswick directly. For those of you who have been in this situation, did you have to deal with Brunswick directly, or do you moreso deal with the distributor, and they would deal with Brunswick? And did they require you to send the pins to Muskegon? Is this a must, or could they be brought to the distributor for inspection? Or is there some way other than shipping to muskegon that they accept...ex pictures for physical defects (cracks in neck), or video with audio to show the dead sound of pins?

We have an adult/child tournament in a few weeks and I am having trouble figuring out how to get these doubles teams onto the lanes. I have set up as an entry tournament and have tried to add the bowlers to lanes (2 doubles teams per lane), but when I try to send the tournament to the lanes I get an error message and only blank grids show up on the scorers. Any ideas would be appreciated.

First off I apologize because this post is very similar to another active post. There are a couple of differences so I wanted to avoid confusion

Got a machine that will simply stop running at random times. It doesn't go into a blackout. Pit light stays on but the motor stops. The motor contractor is not pulled closed but if I manually close the contractor the machine will run. Motor start relay and contractor have been changed out. Thermal overload on motor is not tripping. One item of note is that my pin chasers complained of there being a dead animal smell coming from in back of this machine. This shutting off issues began about a week after the smell. If I let the machine sit it will come back on. The transformer gets pretty warm, not sure if that is normal.

Any ideas?

Everybody has their own type of oil they like to use for different applications. Me, I like using 3n1 on oilite bearings, while using bar/chain oil on metal-metal parts. The other day while I was in Wal-Mart walking through the gun section I got to thinking... what about gun oil? If it's in something like a GUN, it has to be able to withstand the "punishment" on the machines, right? Especially for most centers that don't have that good of a PM. It would probably last a lot longer in between lubrications. Anybody try it before? Pros/Cons?
