Want to build 1/2 scale lane but have questions
Finally have a little bit of an update. Despite not posting anything here, I have actually been pretty busy working on the pinsetter. I am trying to make this an original design as much as possible so there have been some issues to over come. The last update showed the fingers being orientated front to back with some facing forward while others faced backward. Well, finally a little more progress and was able to test the track out to see if there was enough downsweep. I gave the ball just a tiny nudge and watched it creep to the downsweep then SHHOOOM! The ball took off down the track and I realized it was going a lot faster than I expected. I ran after it but it was too late, the ball launched out the ball return hood onto the cement. I thought it would stop somewhere before the untrimmed ends of tubing, whoops. The EMT is quieter than sending the balls...
