my lanes 29-30 are stuck in standalone we can control the pinsetters but scoring will not turn on from front desk we have to use bowlers counsel to turn on and off scoring we have tried shutting standalone off at front counter some times it seems to have shut off as the square icon is gone as soon as you turn them back on it comes back. complete system including all cwc have been reset numerous times, cwc has been changed out along with eprom card, no change. all parts are now back to where we started. we have accuscore with A2s 32 lane center, all cwc are in proper order. I'm at a loss any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Several things come to mind - first what are you using at the front desk? Advantage or AccuDesk?
Have you tried to swap out the home run box? Made sure all cables are plugged in securely? Double check the lane setting switches in the EPROM on 29/30?

That's where you need to start.

Oh, also - what version are your EPROMS?
I've had enough of hope & chains.

Are all the EPROM's the same version? This is very important. Also, 4.14 isn't a 'good' version - you should be using 4.24 or 5.32.

Did you make sure the lane switches were set properly?

yes everyone changed where all set properly as for versions across the house they are all version 4. something or another it is real al just like a tossed salad around here any one know where we could get some better eproms at a resonable price to replace them with and a few spares

Mix & matching EPROM's is a bad idea - you'll get some weird problems - mostly comm. errors. I'm sending you a PM.

Whatever it costs...you should make the Eproms all the same. Go through each CWC and pull the Eprom and write down what version is there. Figure out how many of what version you would need to purchase to make them all the same. Hopefully you can get to 4.24 and not spend too much but you really need to make them all the same.

                Good luck...
