Id like to make a step by step with pictures once i've completed the conversion since this seems to be a common problem during the conversion from what ive been searching on BowlTech here.

Accuscore Plus LCD conversion using Jammaboard
I seem to have hit a bump in the road when it comes to converting my Accuscore Plus monitors to our new LCD Flatscreens. I am converting the CGA signal to VGA using a converter board from JammaBoards (http://www.jammaboards.com/store/cga...-gbs-8220.html) using the method discussed by Bowltech's member RD (http://www.bowltech.com/forums/showt...540#post297540). I am working with the cords coming from the splitter board between the monitors (25 pin connector) and have worked those wires into the included Jammaboard harness. I am assuming I may be having an issue with the ground. No picture at all is showing on the test monitor, just a no signal text from the JammaBoard. Does anyone have any suggestions or information relating to what im working on that could help me?

The GBS-8220 is the "new and improved" board that is supposed to auto-detect the input signal type. I couldn't get it to work with AccuScore Plus.
I'm pretty sure that the board that rd used is an earlier (discontinued) board - the ACV-011.Last edited by deb; 06-29-2012, 05:02 AM.

4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

Turret clutch rebuild
At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
