  • I did it!!!!

Hey guys! I got it! I converted the accuscore+ cga to vga and for about $100 a lane! I will post a how too as soon as I get the rest of the parts in to finish up the other lanes.

Here is the first pic of it working:

I just got new tvs mounted above the lanes, hooked up a board I just ordered and it worked!

Looking at this if you don't have low boys but just upper this more then likely won't work.I have several of those boards
in my shop as I am updating some of my crt to flat monitors in my arcade games (side business) I could of swore I tried these before and
couldn't get to work with Accusrore plus upper monitors.Maybe i'll try again.

Aren't the uppers already vga? I did these on the lowboys...You have to have the older boards also, not the new ones with the auto scan feature.

The problem I had was I couldn't get them to sync properly I was so close but couldn't get it right.
I thought also just buy a board like you said and wham bam litllte this and that be done.Well worked on for cpl days
and couldn't get it right. You got the r-g-b-y- then the vert hold and ground. But the connection from the scoring chassis
from back up to the monitors that's the trick.A.M.F gotcha on the connection. There are about 4 centers up here that have
the same scoring we all got about same time. And we are trying to figure this out without buying the 800 dollar board. But your right vga
but it's not that easy like I thought just get the board hook up and done not true at least here.

Is it scoring properly? The monitor shows 2 pins knocked down but the pindication shows at least 3. Either that or you have a cell wire off and grounding out.
Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? Apparently 'Friggin long ones!" is the wrong answer.

Yes it is scoring correctly. One of my friends thought he would throw a ball down the wrong lane and before i was ready so it started in the wrong step.

No, the uppers aren't vga. The same output from the CWC goes to both the upper and lower monitors. If the conversion that works for the lower monitors doesn't work for the uppers, the difference is in the "monitor control board" after the point where the ribbon cable from the CWC connects. Are you taking the signals directly from the CWC ribbon cable or from the output after the split for left and right?

Exactly Deb the ribbion cable is the problem.

I was going to hack into the ribbon cable to try but thought that wouldn't be good cause my luck
I wouldn't get it back right and then nothing would work.

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
