I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE INTERCOM SYSTEM ON FRAMEWORX W/ VECTOR
WHEN BOWLERS TRY CALLING THE COUNTER LANE NUMBER APPEARS ON MONTIOR BUT BEEPER WILL NOT BEEP !!
CHANGED OUT AV BOX WITH KNOWN GOOD ONE REBOOTED CPU'S AT COUNTER AND "YES WE DID CHECK THE VOLUME ON THE BEEPER BOX" NOTHING HAS HELPED SO FAR.
ANY OTHER IDEAS ?????
Are you getting a screen error timed out message when you try to pick up? If so you may want to try swappibg out the phone line between the cms and megaport connector to the back office with one of the spares that should be available from when the instalation was done. You could also run an echo/ping test to check the port itself.
We've had this problem alot since our software was upgraded.
Solution is as follows
1. Unplug the power from the outlet for the A/V Box.
2. Close Reception on Dator. (Not Stop server tasks, just exit the application)
3. After power is removed from A/V box for at least 30 seconds re-plug in the A/V Box.
4. Restart Reception on Dator.
This always works for us.......let me know if it works for you too!
Does Vector have the same config program as Centermaster? If so, running the setup program will tell you where the AV box is plugged in. The screen icon comes from the server as to which lane is calling, but the communications goes through the terminal serial port, or USB port, to the AV box, and the port has to be identified in the settings.
