  • T8 Black light scoring isues with Vector Plus

We recently converted our Zot dual ballast fixtures to T8 bulbs and ballast. Since then we have had allot of scoring issues. any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again,Sid

Bulbs most likely too bright causing glare, especially with glo pins. Try covering a section of bulb on line between camera and headpin with paper towel tube or tape, or try a dimmer bulb.

With the Vector system, you have the ability to adjust the settings for what is standing pins and what isn't.
If you go into the camera settings, with the lights in the center off and the black pin deck lights on, click on the "Test night" button. Check the readings and change the number in the "Night" box to about 20% less than your lowest reading.
You don't have to be crazy to do this job...But it helps!

The new bulbs actualy seem darker than the T12s. I'll try Cuda's suggestion and see what I come up with.
        Thanks again,Sid

If it is the same video 3 board used on V+ there is an adjustment pot on the board that you can adjust to make it less intense. Do the pins look like they are bleeding over one another?

Only problem with adjusting the Video3 board is that it is also going to effect the scoring under normal lighting. Then he would have to go in and adjust the "Day" settings under the camera settings.

            Good morning,
I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches
I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...

            *sigh* Hello friends..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

            Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
