A-2s with Frameworks. We have 10 lanes and the scoring works great except for lane 4. I will list the steps as they happen.
1. Bowl a gutterball....pins 7,8,9, and 10 are not showing on the screen. Score of 4.
2. Reset to 1st ball and start over...same result.
3. Go to the back....CalPins succesful.
4. Start all over with 1st gutter ball...now have 8 and 9 missing. Score of 2.
5. Play with CCD Tester for about an hour with different results.
6. CCD Tester says 9 pin missing. Give up.
7. Try a gutter ball anyway and it works properly. Scratch head.
8. 1 day later start with top of list with #1.
9. Best I can get is 8 and 9 missing and hope the bowler hits those pins.
10. Please help.
Look at the switch cluster on the machine. It sounds like you are taking the picture too late in the cycle so the back pins are in too much shadow from the deck coming down.
LOTO machine and hand crank it till the deck is about 15 1/2 inches about pin deck. adjust 44/144 cam until it closes the switch and tighten it back down (you will need a 1/4" nut driver, or similar to loosen the tiny bolt that holds it in place).
From there you can plug the machine back in and finish the cycle.
Now try your gutter ball test.
You don't have to be crazy to do this job...But it helps!
plug in ccd tester, go to live picture. unplug pinsetter motor, turn on pinsetter to get pin deck light on. engage g.box clutch and hand crank machine forward watching tester. when rake passes head of pins so the calibration boxes "see" tops of pins cleanly stop turning g.box. set 44/140 switch take data here.

There's no such thing as idiot proof, it just makes a better idiot!
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
Working...
