  • Frameworx - Changeover from Touchworx to Uniworx

Hello everyone....I am in the process of installing an older touchworx system and converting it to a uniworx. I have the first pair up and running uniworx, but with one weird quirk, when the bowler entry screen comes up, lane 1 will have "touch here" in the box where you enter names, but when you give out lane 2 the name box is blank like a keypad was installed, so the bowler has no instruction to "touch here", though you can touch the box and it functions fine. I have switched jumpers, read the manual 10 times, and still the same problem. I then installed a keyboard and unhooked the touch controller, ran "deltouch" command, still have the same problem where lane 1 is telling the bowler to touch, lane 2 acts like a keyboard. So I guess I have some big questions...
    1) Is uniworx touch capable or keypad only? Though touchscreen works, just not accurate screen lables.
    2) Could I be missing a jumper somewhere? Though I think I have tried every combination in the book, and I reboot everytime to refresh.
    3) If I use keypads, how should I update software in this touchworx system....run "deltouch", then run code "uniworx"

BTW, my version of Frameworx is 5.6. Your help will truly be appreciated. I have installed and worked on many systems, but this is my first "Frameworx"....I'm stumped!!
    Shawn
