  • 90's camera transformer

We are switching from 86 scanners and were wondering is there a difference between them and as90 cameras as far as
transformers are concerned. We were told that scanners use 28 volts and cameras use 32 volts.Do these use the same
    transformer?

    Ron Thanks

Ron, not sure on voltage, cameras did use a bigger transformer, but i used the original on 46 lanes, and only problem i had was on 2 pair we had to temporarily plug in a bigger transformer to enable the camera tester to work, otherwise no problems.

are you talking ccd camera's? if so 28 vac is into the stepdown transformer then it goes to +15v -15v and +5v.... the camera is fed off the data processing module.
