  • Frameworx scoring at 44 and not 144 for 2nd ball

O.K. guys I have another issue. I have a couple of lanes that are scoring at 44 all the time and not at 144. The machine goes to second ball, the scorer will score at 44, and score fine, but it doesn't score at 144. Got any ideas or suggestions on how to fix. Thanks in advance.
I got it fixed--too bad it wasn't what I was trying to fix.

As far as I know the 144 degree lobe does nothing with frameworx. I believe they just kept them the same as they were for the old scanners. The process used to be ball detect turns scanner on, the 44 degree takes data the 144 degree turned scanner off. now the process is ball detect readies processor and camera for signal, 44 degree takes data, 144 nothing, zero ends process, ready for next ball.

I thought the 144 was ignored on 1st ball, then read on 2nd ball? This does not make sense to me, unless 1st & 2nd ball micro is inop?

Frameworx will score at 44' on 1st ball, and at 144' on 2nd ball (or 3rd ball 10th frame).
If your machine is scoring at 44', that tells me that it is not seeing the 2nd ball signal from the pinsetter (TS2-8).
You can also check for broken wires at the molex plug on the New Pins Solenoid box.

Have you hooked the scanner tester to it to see if the switch is actually being activated at 144? I'd hook that up even if you find a loose wire in the cabling...just to be sure. Maybe the 144 lobe is rounded down and doesn't activate the switch as solidly as the 44 knob when it rotates?

Boy do I feel dumb!! The 44/144 was actually 'turned up' and the scorer is scoring 144 just before the rake moves back--that's the reason I thought it was just scoring at 44. I appreciate the responses, but I feel like I wasted your time with this one! Thanks again for your help, but next time I will be a tad more observant!
