I took the board out and switched it to another lane and the board works. In talking to a local tv repair company he told me it could be th picture tube itself. Upon talking with Quibica they informed me that the Fenice monitors are no longer available and directed me to Bowltech to find a used monitor (so much for the warrantee). I recently purchased a 9 pin male to 15 pin male cable and hooked it to one of the flat screen monitors we have and I do not get a signal. I think I have 3 options. 1. Find a used Fenice monitor.
2. Purchase a signal convertor from Quibica and put flat screens in. 3. Try a company in Australia that sells a 9 pin to 15 pin convertor. Need a couple of questions answered first. I think that option 1 is a roll of the dice waiting for a used fenice monitor in the US without having to pay a huge shipping bill. Option 2, through the reading I am not sure if I need to have Bowland X for this to work. Also, the conversion kit I have read is very expensive, is this true? Option 3, I have contacted them, but is this a signal convertor? do I need Bowland X for this to work?
I need a little help more information from someone who has dealt with this to make a good decision. We are headed into the off season so I do not want to make a decision that will set us back, but I have a feeling this will come at a price. Any information would help. Thanks
