Hi there,
I have an issue with one of my lanes, we have Qubica, VDB98 T-Vision with F-Box. On one lane out of a pair it will not score, strange thing is when you turn the lane on it cycles once and now your out of cycle, get it back into cycle and bowl it does not score. When you bowl on the screen it makes the pins dissappear and then reappear when it respots pins, it does not matter whether you knock over pins or not always shows 10 pins on the screen.
I have done reboot and checked settings with other lanes and they are the same.
I think you are getting a second ball signal from the pinsetter all the time. You can test for this by issuing the lane like you would for any bowler, typing in a name, starting it up, then hitting "Add Frame", any number from zero to nine and the red key, and then throwing a ball. The "Add Frame" will make the scoring think it should be scoring a second ball and it should score your throw accurately. Then you can go to the front desk Setup > Technical Setup > Pinsetter and Camera and uncheck the box for second lamp. This will make the scoring not care if it is getting a second ball signal and you can run it that way until you find the problem in your pinsetter that is causing the second ball signal to be on all the time. Don't forget to check the second lamp box again after you adjust or repair the pinsetter because a few bowlers will get very confused when they get the pinsetter and scoring out of time.
Check the First and Second Ball lights. Remove the shroud covering the camera, pass your hands through the Infrared beams, all four, two on each side, there will be an indicator LED light up in the back of the Infrared sensor. If the LED stays on too long or is not responding to your hand passing through, whipe it down with a clean rag and some alcohol. As soon as you hand passes through the LED should kick on and then kick off whenever you hand passes through the travel of the beam. Now that you can checked if the IRs are working you can check the IR reflector plates. Make sure that they aren't leaning to far forward or backward, you want them straight verticle. Also clean them with a clean rag and some alcohol. Second Ball Lights, IR Sensor, IR Reflector, if all of those check out, make sure the setting in your Pinsetter and Camera setting match the pair of lanes next to them. And if you haven't already, go in and make sure the automatic reticles are targeted on the neck of all of them pins.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
