T-vision and overlane returns

Just a question for someone - what does Qubica do if you have overlane ball returns? What do they do with the camera, t-vision and reflectors?

Thats an interesting question. I would imagine the camera would be mounted similar to the old Brunswick system in this situation but the interesting part would be where do the ball detectors go?

I beleive on the QA portal in the scoring section you can download install instructions for Qubica cameras and if I remember right I think this situation is in there, been awhile since I looked.

The camera is mounted on top of a special made bracket that allows the ball to go under the camera. The reflectors are mounted closer to the pinsetter...sometimes mounted pointed toward the pinsetter/pinspotter with a mirror mounted at a 45 degree angle to reflect the infrared beam across the lane to the reflectors. The camera board is usually mounted on the curtain wall.

I am asking for someone who has a little 8 laner that currently has scoring installed (but very old stuff) He said he might have a deal for 8 lanes of used Qubica stuff. He has a camera mount already, so the rest of it sounds pretty easy, just having to extend some wiring. Going up tomorrow to look at a machine for him and will pass this along. Thanks guys.......
