    Site Upgrade

    Thanks for everybody’s patience today. I did have the site down for a couple of hours on a software upgrade.

    We were about 3 versions behind, this is the first major update since we switched over the to the vBulletin software a few months ago. This catchup update fixed well over a 100 bugs.

    While there are no new features some enhancements were made to make future growth and new additions much easier.

    The biggest changes you will see are listed below.

    New Shoutbox software – This is a completely new version of one we tested several months ago that is much better supported now.

    New Login Menu – The login process has been cleaned up. The advertising banner at the top of the page has been moved down to just below the navigation bar allowing some room at the top of the page for the login box. So you won’t have to scroll down a half a page any longer to get logged in.

    And it does appear that the Birthday notification is now working.

    I’m certain over the next few days we will find more items that are working differently or better.

    If you find anything that does not seem right please let me know.
