A-22 V2.0 putting oil where it shouldn't be..
I am useing a 40' house shot, and my A-22 is putting oil on boards R5 thru R16 all the way to the pin deck. I have checked everything that I know to do and can't figure this out. Any suggestions?Mechanical Opperations Supervisor

Okay, first off, since it's only putting it on a certain area of the backend, your buffer brush is raising as it should. When you say it's putting oil on 5-16, is it droplets of oil from the injectors or is it a smear of oil? 'Cause if it is a smear of oil, check the foam pad that's on the bottom of the machine just above the buffer brush when the machine is standing up. The adhesive may have let go on part of it and the foam pad is dragging on the lane. Had this happen once here, though not such a wide area. Mine was a 3 board strip of oil.It is wiser to find out than suppose.--Mark Twain

If the injectors were causing it, you would see tiny droplets of oil. That foam pad comes loose easily when you use a towel to squeegee the oil from it rather than blot the oil from it. That was our issue here when we first got the A-22 a few years ago. And contact cement doesn't work well to re-glue it to the machine bottom. Just buy a new pad and then be sure to blot the oil from it. Since we figured that out, that foam hasn't come loose for us for probably over 2 years now. I keep a spare foam pad in stock. It is wiser to find out than suppose.--Mark Twain

Glad you found it. That bracket must've been bent pretty bad. How the heck did that happen? Anybody fess up to maybe dropping the machine when setting it down or something else like that?It is wiser to find out than suppose.--Mark Twain

4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

Turret clutch rebuild
At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
