We had some major bumper problems a few weeks back on our downstairs lanes and Brunswick 'borrowed' controllers and a computer from upstairs to fix the issues. We have our replacements in and have started hooking them up but they don't work all the way.
I have the first two of four controllers hooked up and while I can raise them from the desk in Vector, they will not drop back again on command. When I hook up the test box and set the switches to 4 or 5 only they go up and down just fine, but not with the Vector desk.
Faded just a thought here on this..When we do work on our bumpers or when the over all scoring system has been rebooted we have to give them out like normal bumpers to bowlers and they will work fine after that. It is some bug in programming I guess for us. Hope this helps.

Well, I'll fire up a couple games and set them for one of the players to check into that.
And as far as addressing, I have 31/32 as (1,2,3,4,5) ON and 33/34 as (1 and 6) ON.
I have tried it both with and without the last one (33/34 at the moment) terminated and it doesn't seem to matter.
I have rebooted both the computers behind the masking unit. Do I need to reboot Vector?
With PBWII, if one of the micro switches isn't reading that the bumper is up/down (with ComScore at least) it will affect the "Auto up/down" control. Manual operation via the remote will work however. It's not uncommon for the switch plate on PBWII to slip and cause this intermittent problem.
Are the correct LED's inside the controller box lit when the bumpers are up and down?
If you have the brunswick handheld just hit the bumpers button for that lanethen hit release emergency stop . that might work it always does for me also it may be caused
by a ball at some point of it going up or down being stuck between the capping and the bumper itself.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
