Just out of curiosity have any of you guys with Kegel machines ever changed the plastic block that the pencil
tip locks into that sprays the oil and if so why?

I changed mine when I put the transfer brush conversion kit on my sanction standard. It came with a different one and needed to be changed. I did notice it was not as wobbly as the old one. We try to keep the slide bar clean to reduce wear on the plastic block. If you get too much wobble, I would think you could get some inconsistancy issues.

I changed mine because it was dripping all over. I got the whole tip with the hose assem. I did'nt know that there was a metal check valve in the tip.

The dripping is caused by the hose becoming hard from age.

I was told that there is a springy metal check valve in the tip that wears out. I did'nt take it apart, just chanded the whole thing. ?

If it is too sloppy, the position of the tip will move up and down in relation to where it is putting oil along the transfer brush as it travels back and forth. So if it is spraying oil higher on the transfer brush in some areas, the oil will transfer to the buffer brush a little later than the areas where it is spraying lower on the transfer brush (or because of the slop it might spray the actual the buffer brush in some areas). You want that tip to stay in the position it is supposed to be adjusted at, instead of moving all over the place.

Not in the pencil tip assembly, there isn't. The oil works off the theory of putting your finger on the end of a straw. If you bend the straw fluid will come out.
