  • New Issue has arrived

You guys prior to this post helped me eliminate the H7 error I've been getting constantly. Now a new one has arrived. Say I'm oiling the entire house. Out of 30 lanes 27 are oiled correct. The oil is laid down correctly on the forward run and reverse run. Now the other three lanes. The machine goes down the lane. Strips but doesn't oil on the forward run but it oils correctly on the reverse run. What's causing this? Relays? Thanks in advance.

Just so you guys know I have a Kustodian ION

I dont have experience with the battery machines...

But are your batteries getting weak at that point causing that issue? Sounds like a possibility since its after the same amount of lanes....

The 3 lanes at the end or 3 random lanes out of the 30?

Walk with the machine as it runs down the lane. My guess it, either the oil pump is not coming on, or the buffer motor is not coming on. With the batteries comes a new set of issues. The brushes fro the buffer motor and oil pump motor need to be cleaned ever so often.

What model ION do you have?
Conditioner: Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions with Color Enhancer
Cleaner: Fabuloso Spring Fresh with Bleach Alternative
        Cloth: ShamWow!
        Machine: Johnny 5
Surface: Melamine-impregnated, phenolic-treated, high pressure pressed craft paper

Try swapping out the 4th relay from left to right which is the oil pump relay with one of the other white relays. The other relay that I've seen cause this problem is the 11th relay which is your forward drive relay. When swapping these relays I would suggest doing one at a time and know which relay you swapped so you can then replace it unless you already have an extra white relay (158-1420G). Below is a link so you can get the PDF file of a picture of the center plate with relay locations.

          Hope this helps

          *sigh* Hello friends..

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
