ive read a post or 2 on here from a couple others having the same issue as far as stalling out on the reverse pass around 10ft before coming back to the foul line. Ive checked and replaced both forward and reverse drive relays as well as checked the ips adjustments. no issues at all with the forward pass only the reverse. I have a few speed control boards on the shelf from the previous head mechanic but this machine was his baby so i never really got any technical training on it. I planned on calling Kegel first thing on Mon but i thought i would see if any of you guys could shed some light on this issue. My main real question is... Is the speed control board plug and play, or will i have to make any ajds on the trim pots? any input would be greatly appreciated.

Check the adjustments on the Speed Control Board before replacing it. the adjustments of the pots are shown in the manual. I suspect you may need to adjust the Deaccel Pot. Is it stopping and erroring out or just a harsh shift from one speed to the next? it slows gradually to a complete stop. its a smooth transition from speed 14 to 10. just slows to a crawl then errors out with the reverse travel error. the only adj i saw in the manual is for the IR pot. i may have missed the adj for the deaccel pot.Is the breaker off? The manual shoul have a pic of the speed control board in the parts diagram section. There it should show the direction each pot should be adjusted. Or just note where it's at now and turn it one way a little bit at a time. See if it gets better of worse. Just make sure it's the spied control board for the drive motor and not the cleaner pump, if you have the 24VDC cleaner pump.Conditioner: Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions with Color Enhancer

i had the old copy of the manual here in the shop that didnt have any pictures as u described but i did download the current one from Kegel so now i have the picture... after the youth league is finished i will give it a go and see what happens. i greatly appreciate the adviseIs the breaker off? sorry i didnt get back to you sooner. i checked the pots on the board and the ir was off from. i dunno if the former mechanic before me adjusted them or not. but i adjusted it back to factory and i didnt notice any change so i went ahead and swapped out speed control boards and still no change. i yanked the main motor to go ahead and blow it out. still no change im gonna call kegel monday morn and see if i can find out whats upIs the breaker off?
