  • Brown Squeege Blades for K+ ??

Does anyone with a K+ machine use brown squeege blades? I got 2 sets of blue blades and i've had nothing but issues with them! Did the makers of the squeege blades change something? Before I changed them one of my machines had blue blade on front and brown at rear. Should I go back to that configuration? I've never had issues with brown blades and the blue ones seem so flimsy to me. I keep getting dirty yuck lines and random dark grey drops at random spots ever since I put on the new blue blades. I'm thinking about taking them off and going to brown blades instead.

Never had an issue with the blue blades on a K+, Are you sure your blades are adjusted correctly? I wouldnt put 2 brown blades on your machine, the extra pressure will put unwanted stress on the drive motor.

Chip, I currently use two brown blades, and they work for me and our K+. I know that the painted machines come w/ blue and work for others, just personal pref. It is ironic that you mention the use of blue in front and red in rear, as I also did that for a season. I was just trying stuff out of the box, Both combos worked for me with no adverse effects. (yet) I hope you get cleaning issue behind you soon, as it is the base for great lane conditions. On a side note, I do have my cleaner pump output a little higher than recommended, maybe that is why I do not expierence noticeable drag issue.

Just put on the brown blades on the rear and blue in the front..Problem went away! No more dirty yuckness by the foul lines :-) I do however am getting dirty cleaner onto my pitboards. AM I applying too much cleaner? I have pump set to 9ml at 4x test with 10:1 cleaner dilution and last squirt is set to 45' and lift duter is set to 12"

Are you using the pause and suck feature? If not i would turn it on for a second or two. that way it gives the machine a little extra time to suck up any excess cleaner before pushing the squeegee off the pindeck

What is your lift duster adjust set at? This will lift the duster at a distance before the squeegee does to let the puddle of cleaner to be sucked up before it pushes it off the end of the lane.

K+ does not have the pause and suck feature

I have my lift duster set @ 20, I do know that is my magic number. Not sure what yours would be, maybe try increasing it slowly. I also have last squirt set at 55, which i know is extremely high, but I had more than desirable out of ranges, I thought doing that might help. ( and i feel it has ) Hope your problem is fixed soon.
