  • Oil head timing SM II

Just had to replace the nylon sliding block for the oil head as the old one had way too much play in it. After doing so I checked the oil head timing as per the manual. Small adjustment of the left/right position sensor was needed to ensure it registered ON in the centre of the PROX' sensor. Double checked again on both sides and all seems well. On the lane, however, the load is distinctly biased towards the 7 pin side. What is my deliberate mistake?

The height of the oil tube will change the start/stop distance. Check where the load starts/stops with the scribe lines on the transfer roller. If you have the brush I don't know?

Oil tube height - that makes sense, it's probably higher now. And yes I have the transfer roller and brush . Thanks for the reminder I recall reading about that in the manual a while ago will check it this afternoon.

Sorted Thanks rivmike. Another headache prevented by Bowltech - Bet it's not popular with pill makers!
