Silicone?

Has anyone ever heard of an issue between the silicone in certain oils, and the silicone in certain belts and kickers?

Oils have very little if any silicone in them today

I don't know the answer, but just out of curiousity, what lane oils contain silicone?

I was told prodigy has slight amounts of silicone, but the issue came in with ball returns, and when the ball had the silicone in the oil reacted with the silicone in the kickers, and spun the ball in the ball door.. just a subject that was brought up..

Silicone is a VERY generic term, especially when it comes to chemical formulas. There are hundreds of categories of silicones then even more sub-categories of those. It's just like cholesterol, there's good cholesterol and bad cholesterol and even sub-categories of those. To put it in simple term, there's no "bad cholesterol" in lane conditioners.
