  • New Lane walker ariving monday

So i convinced the owner here to get us a new lane walker for our 60 lane bowling center. they are supposed to be ugrading the batteries for us so that we can do 80 plus lanes in one run as i do 120 a day cant wait to see this baby in action as it is the only kegel machine i havent had yet. i know im ready to be able to do things while its doing its job in the mornings. Just curious with it walking like it does how much longer does it take each of you to run your lanes as aposed to doing them by pushing the machine from lane to lane. kinda trying to get a time estimate. my kustodian has a good program in it and scores are pretty good so ill just transpose the settings to start but curious if it will take longer to run the same pattern now.

It will make you happy! I get so much more done on the pinsetters, now that I don't have to spend 2 hours everyday running the lanes. The machine's batteries should do approximately 60 lanes on a charge. With the additional "backpack" battery unit it can do about 20 more! The recharge time on these beautifull machines is super fast! I run 50 lanes twice a day, and the recharge time is usually under 2 hours! It was suggested to me by the install rep. to order new batteries at the six month mark due to the number of lanes we run daily. I would suggest the same for you. You may not have to replace them exactly at six months, but better to have them in stock when you need them. As far as run time, mine does 50 lanes in just under 2 hours, if I don't have to wait for lanes to finish. I have modified the Kegel main street pattern if that gives you any idea on run time.

I would say the time will run you in the 2 hour range per run, just depends what the pattern speeds are. I dont think it will take any longer, considering you mave to move the machine lane to lane and then stop and move the cord around. I am curious on what the upgrade on the batteries might be. If you can get the cleaner tank full when you start and running an average volume of oil, it should make the whole house without stopping it for a refill. (I can do 60 here without a problem)

I would recommend dumping the recovery tank at the 30 lane mark

We will get you a program with all 18/22/26/30 speeds to conserve battery voltage

ok so here the deal on the batteries they upgraded them to lithium ion but not the old ones. these are supposed to run 90 lanes on a charge. i unloaded the machine today and read some stuff and ran 10 lanes with it on easy street just to get famillar with it and it is so nice. best part was the customers drooling over it lol. it runs pretty good from lane to lane right now and the cleaner pump is set a little high right now so i probably wont get all 60 so im gonna drop the amount a little. cgonna take a few days to get her dialed in but im freaking excited that its here finally. cant wait to see what kinda scores i can get out of this thing. the kegel rep will be here wensday morning to officially install it but he said it was ok to play with it a little. i love the new screen and how easy it is to laearn the machine. hell i love the tank light so you can see whats left in the tanks.

The cleaner pump is factory set for 40 Ml. for a 4 pass test. Mine ran 48 lanes on a full tank before I adjusted it down to 30 Ml. on a 4 pass test. it runs all 50 lanes without needing to be refilled. The range the book says for effective cleaning is 25-30 Ml. on 4 pass test. As far as the batteries being rated for 90 lanes, that's new info. for me. I thought the sport edition were rated for 60 lanes, and with the external battery another 20 lanes was possible. That's what mine is, and it's less than six months old!

I will be interested in knowing how long the Lithium Ion batteries last. Would love to upgrade my earlier version away from the "car" batteries.

I just bought a set of the Odysee batteries last week and mentioned to the guy I had heard they were using lithium ion batteries. I paid close to $450 for 2 of the Odysee batteries and he said a compairable lithium ion would probably be 3 times as much.

We currently have the Lithium batteries. They are going on 4 years, which is near their end of life. We have ordered the Odyssey conversion because the Lithium’s will quit on you without warning. The distributor said the Lithium’s were overkill from the beginning for the average Centre.

The Odyssey batteries (925's) are around $800 AUD and the Lithium’s would be around $3K AUD. Unless you have 50+ lanes it's hard to justify buying Lithium’s now.

we have 60 lanes and do all of them twice a day with out fail. so far so good and it looks like 1700.00 bucks is what we were told they will cost when its time to replace them.

I named mine Einstein! I run 50 Lanes twice a day, and was told to expect around 8 months of solid battery life with the odyssey 1200 batteries.

I know the Lithiums charge within the hour, what about the Odyssey 925's? I was told they take a lot longer.
