  • Stripper drips

    Hey Guys,
Need a suggestion, I have a Sanction Standard Kegal machine. It drips the stripper when it comes back to the foul line and I remove it from the approach, you probably all have had this problem? What do you guys suggest to put by the spray heads to stops this? Wicking material, foam etc?
    Thanks in advance.

I would put new filters with check valves in behind the spray jets

What is your spray on and off times?

Is the pressure relief hose from the T of the spray hose back to the tank clogged?

Just had a dripping problem with ours and replacing the screens/check valves on the sprayers fixed it.
Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? Apparently 'Friggin long ones!" is the wrong answer.

Kegal has a no drip kit, plastic cups under each tip and a hose running to the recovery tank cuff. (about $100 ) I made the same with parts from the hardware store for about $25.

I have never needed a drip kit

If it is dripping when you pull it off the lane you might need to adjust your transition blocks on the gutters for a smoother exit

Thanks for the input guys and (King), I know some of the transition blocks are low do to the different stlye of gutter throughout the center. I saw Pinsetter parts plus makes a transition block kit, I may try one and see how it works. Its supposed to bring the block even with the approach?

Good job on the newer blocks - makes it much easier to get off the lane

                  Eddie,
I would replace the check valves in the sprayers. Also check to make sure the blocks where the sprayers are don't have a pin hole in them. I have seen that happen. I would also make sure you machine timing in the pits for approx 5-10 seconds to give the machine time to pick up all the excess stripper in the pits. If you need any help let me know.
