Has anybody out there tried the ST21 ULTIMATE from US POLYCHEM? I just recently tried some.........was quite pleased at the performance........even at a 50:1 ratio however I have a concern. I have been using "Fizzion" for a long time and before i tried the ST21 i emptied the cleaner tank......rinsed it out and then filled with my mixture of ST21. What i then noticed for about a week during my testing was that the filter in my ION was Gelling up.....What???? Was there still enough residual Fizzion left to create a reaction or is it just the ST21 product itself??? I'd like to keep using it.....At 50:1 i can make up 50 gal. of cleaner for about $30. 40 gal. of Fizzion cleaner runs me around $85 using 2 tabs per gal. Seems like a no-brainer.

I always had material form around the spray jets with ST-21
I would try Defense C leaner form Kegel
Defense C is good with all types of water -
I can say I had the same thing happen years ago.

Had same issue years ago with spray jets getting white calcium deposits around the tips and then made the cleaner spray wherever it wanted. Switched to Defense-C from Kegel and was very happy with it. We are now using Defense-CX4S. Fill 2 1/2 gallon jug with water and 3 cap fulls of cleaner and you're golden!

FWIW if you strip and oil once per day 4 caps would be better
Twice per day and lower volume you can get away with 3 caps to 2.5 gallonsComment
