Machine is a Phoenix S model C.
The problem is, when the machine is put on the lane and ready to go, after you push the start button the oil head will do its thing, then the machine will not move and I get a forward travel error.
Also the machine will stop at the back of the pin deck and I will get said error. It will also move slower than normal.
This probmel is intermittent, I have 32 lanes, it will do it around 7-8 times.
I replaced the drive motor and checked all the wires. All the IPS readings are correct when I test it.
It sounds like a speed controller issue. I am a little confused about it. I know all about the tripod adjustments on the center console. There is also a circuit board under the console (in back of the computer.) Not sure witch one would cause the problem.

Does this have output relays like My Sanc. Standard SE ?
It has a relay for forward travel and reverse travel, it runs extremely slow going both ways so it shouldn't be the relays. The vacuum and drive relays are a different size.

The drive motor was replaced.
I cleaned the speed controller pods with electronic cleaner. A few won't hold the adjustments and won't even adjust. I ordered a new controller and pods. I will up date when I install them.

It sounds like the speed control circuit board, the one where you adjust speeds. Take the molex plug and try pinching the female ends a little to tighten the fit on the male ends, very common for you to loose a good connection on those pins over time. Especially when it is intermittent like you said, seems like it happens when leaving the fouline and pit so it could be the connection for low speed as it has to ramp up and is not. Had the same thing on mine last year, it was just a bad connection in the molex plug.
Television is called a medium because it is neither rare or well done.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
