  • which kegel machine.

we are going to be moving our center to a ground level building and will have 16 brand new avilanes. we would like to know if you had a choise what KEGEL machine you would choose? (I don't think we need a walker for 16 lane.) but what would you choose? Also which cleaner and oil? How long do the batteries last in those with batteries? are they worth having a battery?

Pro lane or anvil lane? Big difference?

Not sure with an Ion but the Walker you have no choice, it only runs on batteries. If you have the cash, go with the walker.

My vote is for an Ion.. Do 42 lanes sometimes 2 times a day. As far as the batteries.. Will have to let you know when they die. Put them in in April.

We've got a Kustodian Ion, great lane machine! Run the house, 32 lanes, up to 3 times a day on batteries. The Sport Model is on our wish list. Please note that there is a learning curve when going from a wick to a shooter machine.

I sure we are going with the anvil lane, I don't think pro lanes are needed here as we have alot of black light bowlers. I was thinkin the Ion sport also. but damm that walker looks so easy to use. I want something versital as we will have more sport shot tournies along with regular leagues.

Sport is awesome as you can store many patterns.

Have an ION here for 32 lane center. Infinity oil and Defense C cleaner. I have replaced set of batteries once in 3 years. It really depends on the how much you do lanes that determine battery life. For 16 lane center ION Sport will do job but the Walker is the best selection. You will be happy with both machines. Good luck

on either battery machine if you oil 2 times a day then only charge the machine over nite, because the batteries average around 400 charge cycles depending on how much the battery is drained each time of use. At a center that i used to work at it was 28 lanes and a pattern that took just a little over 1 minuet for each lane and the batteries would last about 1.5 years
It's so quiet here you can hear a pin drop!

Ion B model w/ extended life batteries here. New Jan. '08. 36 lanes. We run a complete strip/oil 10 times a week, plus an occasional fill pattern. (Not every day. And not all the lanes.) We are still on original batteries. Aside from an oil pump a couple months ago, it has run trouble free. (Knocking wood as I'm typing.) Great machine!!! I do recommend the 3" wheels, though. As the 2" wheels just do not hold up.

Your only a 16 lane center find a used machine put some upgrades in it and stick with the cord. You dont need to spend a ton to get great results and you dont need to store
a ton of patterns that is what Kosi pro is for simply send a pattern when you need it. Really lane conditioning is made easy with sanction tech dont try and put to much
science into it the average house conditions are all pretty close to the same use kegel products and you will be just fine. Need help getting things going let me know
i have several centers i service all over the country ill be glad to help ya out.

If you go with the Walker, you will like the added benefit that you can do something else in your center while conditioning the lanes rather than standing there watching the machine go up and down the lane...especially if you have to stand there and pull a cord. Granted, 16 lanes isn't going to make a big difference, but 25 to 30 minutes a day extra time working on other things adds up over time.

I personally have the Model C Ion...so I move the machine from lane to lane...but I also have synthetic approaches and would be there buffing them anyway. (Yes...I buff mine every day when conditioning the lanes) If you are worried about not being there to see the pattern being laid down to be sure everything is OK...you can always walk out there when the machine is part way across the house and check to be sure all is OK...and then go back to what you were doing. I look at a Walker as a way of saving payroll...or at least getting more done with the payroll you have. JMO

I'm suddenly glad that we have wood...I thought those things were suppose to be less maintenance.

I never have to patch, sand or coat them. Less maintenance? Maybe...just in a different area.

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
