  • For anyone using Connect oil and Defense CX4-S

Was curious if anyone is using these products together and how you dilute your cleaner to get back ends sqeeky clean. I've adjusted the default unwind from 08 to 09 when resetting the duster cloth and i've tried using 4 caps of cleaner in 2.5 gallon jug with water. It just seems as the back ends still have old oil marks as I the finger test. Was curious if anyone else had this issue and what you did to make it better. I'm using K2 Select cloth..if that helps any. Thanks!

Clean-rite 2 here at 6 or 7 to 1 ratio. Cleans fine, but Bruns. oils seem real weather sensitive. On rainy days they will play slippery.

I use Classics MP+ with connect and i took a gallon bucket and measured up an inch from the bottom and fill to that line with cleaner. then an inch from the top and thats where i fill it to with water. the backends are clean as possible. and yes when it is a humid air temp it is tough oil to work with but my leagues like it.

I'm not a fan of the concentrate cleaners. IMO they don't clean as well as the real stuff.

When I was using connect it was 3.5 caps to 2.5 gallons, cleaned well. have you checked that you are getting the correct volume of cleaner applied to lane.

Not an accurate way to measure cleaner

Would be better to fill a cup then fill the jug then fill with water

5-1 is 21 ounces cleaner - fill the jug
6-1 is 18 ounces cleaner - fill the jug

I've tried 3 caps..now i'm trying 4 caps. I've raised my default unwind time for duster to 09 when resetting the counter so more cloth touches the lane. Yes i'm getting correct volume 12mL for 4-stream test. I know that seems low but its correct for the 24vdc i'm using and i've had that confirmed its correct. It just seem that old oil marks are still kinda there at the back ends or they're from a dirty ball or balls are getting dirty and leaving marks. It seems to be almost every lane.

I set mine back to 8 from default 11. Got about 430 lanes on the roll.

12mL is not that much... I run 25mL.. I've always ran high though
