Have you checked the fuses; specifically the PLC fuse?

The 25 amp fuses might be under the main electronics panel - where the batteries are located - I will look after mine gets running here in about 15 minutes. Did you get it off the lane or is it still there? And did you check the fuses with a meter?

I dont see anywhere in the book where a 25 amp fuse would go - the battery fuse is 40 amps and the next largest is the vac motor at 20. Get your book out and check page 127 for status indicator lights, see what its trying to tell you.

the cvr fuse has blown assuming from the title that just the touch screen isnt turning on, but the plc itself is lit up. and you cant run the machine with the back up option.

Have you had a look at the plug itself for the screen?

Constant voltage regulator fuse (25a) was blown ....marty your right the book makes no mention of this fuse ( I called kegel tech Doug Dukes) otherwise I would still be searching ...I still have a minor short somewhere though ...the power button does not work... as soon as you release the emergency stop button the machine powers up ( Ill investigate more tomorrow ) but either way the machine the machine is now running tip top ( minus the short ) thanks doug and the members of bowl tech for helping me thriugfh this ....it would be nice if someone would make a more detailed troubleshooting guide for eletrical issues !!!!!

cvr constant voltage regulator (25a) fuse kegel walker

It makes no mention of this fuse in the book ....it is in the battery compartment to the left of the batteries ...inside a little box that has two small flat head screws ...remove the cover and the (25a) fuse is at the bottom

Just so I am clear on this - if that fuse is blown - the machine will power up but just the touch screen does not work? or the touch screen doesnt come on? Just so if it ever happens to me at some point, want to right a note in the machine book. Thanks..........

Marty...try pulling your fuse and see what does not work. That would be the best way of knowing what your machine will do if the fuse blows. It sounds like jhova has other issues besides just the blown fuse so his symptoms might be slightly different than what you might see.

I just got the privilage of ordering a new touchscreen for my older walker D - display will light up but I get no response from the right hand side buttons. I told the boss there are a lot of good things about the lanewalkers but a few bad things too. And the bad thing was the price of the new touchscreen, just under $3,000.00
