Wicks
Digging through parts at one center. Old Lanewalker (hopper). My main center has a phoenix wick and I'm salvaging what I can. The walker has these wicks in it that look like foam. The only wick I'm familiar with are the white compressed ones. Walker center has some spares of the white ones but I'm wondering about the quality of the foam ones and if they are still good. The center was closed for a couple years. The wicks are saturated with oil and don't seem to be deteriorating. Also wondering if it is a good idea to flip the wicks around to have the other side pressing against the roller for longer life. Then walker center has a nice Kustodian Ion and the walker was pretty much scrap when I found it.

The foam wicks were made my Lane Masters. I had a set of them once, I didn't care for them but that was just me. If you suck the oil out using a shop-vac the wicks should be reuseable. Yes flipping them around to use an unused area of the wick is fine. I'm still a fan of the traditional white wool wicks.Conditioner: Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions with Color Enhancer

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
