  • Yes, this is another help me King! thread...

HALP! We recently upgraded our kustodian walker with a new buffer brush, transfer brush, and PLC (R&D machine) to add the reverse drop brush feature. Since then, the main street based pattern we were using has changed drastically.
I'm looking for a new pattern. I've had stone street out since the new year and it's okay, but averages are still down.
I have 16 year old pro-anvilane that is a hook monster. We are a very high lineage center(senior leagues all day-crankers at night). We strip/oil twice a day and sometime three times. 30-40 games per lane per strip/oil.
Heck I may even consider going back to a seperate day and night shot. I tried most of your shots(high friction, low friction, tweaked Keeth shot) and it was either not enough oil or wet/dry.
50mic stream and 5:1 defense C and navigate oil. We are a test center so IDK if changing product will work.
Stone street at 42' causes respots/oor/ball returns into the third shift with seniors. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    I modified Stone Street

At 50mic the pattern has too much volume

    RBD - 37'

    41'
    45mic stream
    2-2 2 14
    8-8 1 14
    9-9 1 14
    10-10 2 18
    11-11 3 18
    12-12 2 18
    2-2 0 22 buff to 41' - no multiple buff screens

    2-2 0 30 41-34'
    12-12 1 18
    11-11 3 18
    10-10 3 18
    9-9 2 18
    8-8 1 14
    2-2 1 14
    Total volume 20.835

I feel the machine cleans better at 22 ips in forward in the buff screen
I made the buff 9' in reverse at the foul line rather than 7'...and sped the machine up to 14...no need for the machine to run that slow...7' is not enough to get the oil off the brush

        I use Prodigy.

It does through the brush system well.

It also is the best oil to eliminate calls...ball and pin transfer issues

Try the above pattern first - much less oil

          Sir,
I used Prodigy for a long time. And it is still my favorite. I will have a report back for you in a day or two tops.

Initial perspective is it is pretty dang easy with an excellent track area. Already had a 299 on it with some of the better seniors yesterday. Only thing I question is how it will hold up against a 5 man team league with the crankers. If you miss left it will go through the nose. Problem is that the crankers will burn up the outside pretty fast and will move into the down and in guys track. We had this same issue with an old house pattern and while scores were abundant, there was a 12 board move left at the end of the night.
I know it's not possible to please everyone and I'm good with it. Do you think adding something like a 15-15 would help with durability? Thanks King.

15-15 would never help with durability unless you were bowling on a 44 foot narrow pattern

The 31 rule puts the spot at the 10th board

                  41' - 31 rule = board 10 at 41 feet

                  I will add a 10-10 for durability

                  41'

                  2-2 2 14

                  9-9 1 14
                  10-10 3 14
                  11-11 3 18
                  12-12 2 18
                  2-2 0 22 buff 24 to 41' - no multiple buff screens

                  2-2 0 30 41-34'
                  12-12 1 18
                  11-11 3 18
                  10-10 3 18
                  9-9 2 18
                  8-8 1 14

Hey King, I ran the pattern with the extra 2-2 and it played wet/dry for the most part. I went back to your original version of stone street and now the bowlers are complaining about it being too dry. I had a 500 club tourney last Sunday and they wanted an easier shot.
I am going to double check all the adjustments to the machine in a few minutes. I know the oil/cleaner volumes are correct. Also, the carry down is visibly...tremendous. It looks worse than it is but man, I think I'll go back to prodigy next order.

Hard to see from my cell phone pics, but this is after 12 games, just imagine 36! She's a hooking.
                    Any suggestions?

King, I had two 300's tonight. Looks like a step in the right direction. I'll monitor the senior scores over the next few days. Thanks!

The 12 load moved to a 9 should help with longevity and reduce over / under
