  • Just How Good Is The KEGEL Kustodian Lane Walker!

These graphs are of the same oil pattern, 1 pulled on 1/31/12
the other on 2/7/12 1 week apart all tapes were pulled at the same distance with the exception of the back end tape,
I pulled lane 1 at 39 Ft. lane 15 at 38 Ft. my mistake.
The lane machine was started on lane 24 both times 1 tape
was pulled on lane 1 the other lane 15 you can see that the
pattern is almost identical when you over lay them, the only
exception is the tape I pulled 1 Ft. closer to the foul line.
With that being said I'd say the KEGEL Kustodian Lane Walker
IS PRETTY DAM GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comparison Graphs Different Lanes 15 Ft..pdfComparison Graphs Different Lanes 29 Ft..pdfComparison Graphs Different Lanes 39 Ft..pdf

This should be in a Kegel ad campaign.

These machines work day in, day out....and repeat the pattern.

Providing you keep that transfer brush pristine. Cleaning the front part of the lane helps a lot, i use a lane finish applicator. I have to wipe the gunk off every 6 or 8 lanes it picks up so much. Ok, so we only do it about once a week, but should be done everytime. LOL We also blow it out really well with an air compressor.

All kegel machines do this, you have to keep them clean and the normal maintanence. I wish they had more info on what should be done, rather than having a problem then learning the hard way. For instance, the buffer brush running it the 1st 3 or 4 yrs. now every yr.change / after 5 or 6 yrs. the tranfer roller gets smooth and needs sandblasting. The foam lino-duster roller should be changed almost every yr. I guess if you can maintane your mach. real good you won't buy a new one!
